The difference between creatives who are recognized by the world and the ones who aren't is this:
The former are exposing themselves to reality.
Creation in itself, despite being rewarding, doesn't give you a signal whether what you made resonates with people.
Shipping your work does.
As a creative, you need to close the loop.
And this is terrifying for many. Exposing yourself to the world feels like giving a part of you away.
And you open the door to judgment, criticism, and rejection.
But this is the battle you need to fight. Learning to expose yourself to the world, to reality. Without losing faith and belief in your vision and craft.
Close the loop.
